Bertram Library Director Mary Seaman gave a presentation on the library, sharing the history of the library and noting that that library is funded by Burnet County, the City of Bertram and the Friends of the Bertram Library.

Some interesting facts shared during the presentation were that anyone can be a member, no matter where they reside, and she gave stats on the past seven months which includes over 12,000 visitors to the library and over 1,800 in attendance and programs, excluding the summer programs, which typically have about 1,800 children participating.

Mary introduced the staff and volunteers and shared that the goal of the library is to prepare children for school readiness through reading, learning, and activities such as the summer programs.
