Until a full review is complete, the Burnet County Commissioners Court has decided to withhold any official response to the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and Oncor Electric Delivery Company proposal to build a new electrical transmission line, including one part of the route to run through Burnet County.

The line is expected to span from Bell County to the west Texas Permian Basin area.

“We have to be careful with it,” County Judge Bryan Wilson declared at the beginning of the June 24 meeting at the county courthouse, 220 S. Pierce St.
