The YMCA of the Highland Lakes and the Burnet Chamber of Commerce teamed up to host the YMCA and Burnet Chamber End of Summer Party — a lively Splash Bash held July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Burnet. Families gathered to soak up the last of summer fun, with pools open for play and daring swimmers making a splash off the diving boards.
Bill’s Burgers served up hot dogs with all the fixings, while Tejas Ice and Sweets offered a rainbow of snow cone flavors to help guests cool off, Texas-style.
It was a fun-filled evening celebrating community and the season’s sunny sendoff.
