A major wave is hitting the Texas Hill Country this summer as Lake LBJ welcomes the inaugural Wakepoint Open presented by NXTLVL Marine, a premier wakeboarding and wakesurfing competition taking place Aug. 15–17. With over $40,000 in cash prizes and a high-energy weekend of elite riding, live music, and lakeside action, this event is poised to become one of the region’s top summer attractions.
The Wakepoint Open – a three-day celebration of wakeboarding, wakesurfing and lake life culture – is set to attract elite athletes from around the world along with locals and lake-lovers alike.
