Some exquisite art created by one Burnet resident, also a lively part of the Marble Falls artist colony, is on public display now in Georgetown at St. David’s Hospital, 2002 Scenic Drive.
Scenes of landscapes and people in acrylic, pastels, oil and water color by Joy Schuhmacher can be viewed inside the Healing Arts Gallery on the first-floor of the hospital through Sept. 5.
“Her work reflects her travels and the fine eye of an artist,” says Robert Neff, the gallery curator.
