The Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District (CTGCD) board recently adopted the property tax rate for fiscal year (FY) 20252026, set to begin Oct.1.
The board approved the rate of .0055 per $100 of property valuation during the Aug. 26 meeting in Burnet at 225 S. Pierce St. near the county courthouse.
No election is required to adopt the rate, because it is less than the voter-approval tax rate of.0060.
