Summer break ends for BHS athletes

For the 2023-24 sports season each individual sport held their own sports awards program at the conclusion of their seasons. This gave coaches more control over celebrating their athletes and the seasons they produced. The sports awards program, normally held at the end of the school year, was replaced by these individual banquets.

For the 2023-24 sports season each individual sport held their own sports awards program at the conclusion of their seasons. This gave coaches more control over celebrating their athletes and the seasons they produced. The sports awards program, normally held at the end of the school year, was replaced by these individual banquets.

The following is a list of awards separated by sport that student athletes were honored with.

Volleyball: Co-Offensive MVPs, Camryn Courtney and Lauren Howton; Defensive MVP, Journey Denton; Fighting Heart, MaeSyn Gay; Glue stick, Reagan Shipley; Hidden Gem, Laney Huffman; We versus Me, Addie Houston; and Overall MVP, Zaria Solis.
