Color Wars tradition cultivates faith, fellowship
Wrapped in color and faith, Brianne Smith, Eden Lindeman, Brianne Hudgins and Lauryn Hocker appeared to become quite the canvass for the lively event. Martelle Luedecke/Luedecke Photography (Lead photo)

Burnet High School students gathered on Sept. 8 to launch a new season of Young Life with their much-anticipated Color Wars tradition.

The evening was full of energy, laughter, and friendly competition as teens came together to celebrate the start of another year.

Young Life Burnet meets every Monday at 7:11 p.m. and is led by Brandon and Morgan Edwards, who have dedicated themselves to creating a welcoming, faith-filled space for local youth.
