The Burnet City Council met on Sept. 23 to review key reports and take action on several items that will guide city services, operations, and finances. Here’s a recap of the key reports and decisions.
Council first received the Public Works and Engineering report, which showed steady progress across departments. Street crews completed paving on several major roads and led storm cleanup efforts, while the Electric Department advanced projects such as converting city hall’s lines underground.
Parks continued field maintenance and hay production, and Water/ Wastewater installed new pumps, replaced lines and hydrants, and managed more than 200 service orders.
