A longtime resident of Buchanan Dam, Elsie McDaniel celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday, Jan. 10. Elsie was born in Granger in 1926. She has enjoyed her long life with family and friends and her hobbies include gardening, cooking, fishing and playing cards. Elsie is pictured here with her great-great granddaughter, Julissa.
