The Burnet County Commissioners Court recently took a big step to bolster bold opposition to the extension of a controversial transmission line.

“We have a 391 commission,” County Judge Bryan Wilson announced during the Feb. 24 meeting at the County Courthouse, 220 South Pierce Street.

Attendees in the courtroom applauded after Wilson spoke, including County resident Randy Printz, who spearheads SaveBurnet.com, a group of protesters to the line.
