The filing period for the upcoming city council election closed on Feb. 13.
For the unexpired term, Crista Bromley has filed as the only candidate.
For the full two-year term, the candidates for the three available seats are Cindia Talamantez, Sky Hullum, Lee Carney, Juan Anthony Francisco, Jr. and Danny Lester.
Election Day is May 2.
To vote, residents must live within the city limits and be registered to vote. The last day to register is April 2.
Residents are encouraged to confirm their registration status and take part in the election.
