A cool Saturday morning in Marble Falls did little to slow the steady flow of families arriving at Marble Falls Middle School on April 18, for the second annual Ready as One Emergency Preparedness Fair.

The event brought together residents, first responders and community organizations in a single, accessible setting.

Hosted by Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) in partnership with the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office and the Burnet County Office of Emergency Management, the free family event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the grounds of the campus.
