Cross Country teams race at Patriots Invite

The Burnet cross country team loaded the busses at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday and headed out to San Antonio for the San Antonio Patriots XC Invite. This was a huge meet that featured over 800 runners in Burnet’s divisions.

The Burnet cross country team loaded the busses at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday and headed out to San Antonio for the San Antonio Patriots XC Invite. This was a huge meet that featured over 800 runners in Burnet’s divisions.

For the Dawgs, Burnet’s JV boys placed sixth overall as a team. The varsity boys’ team took 16 and both girls’ teams finished 24.

Burnet’s top individual performers from each division included Victor Aviles, varsity boys; Asah Roy, varsity girls; Maya Calderon, JV girls; and Austin Moore, JV boys.
