Footprints is a free eight-week peer support group for children between the ages of 6-15 years who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

The first session is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Hill Country Fellowship, 200 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet. The eight, 1-hour group sessions are scheduled for Oct. 3 through Dec. 5, skipping Oct. 31 and Nov. 28 for Halloween and Thanksgiving, respectively.

Rusty Russey, Highland Lakes C.P.R. Ministries director, said, “It breaks my heart to see children and teens undone by the loss of a loved one. Footprints creates a nonthreatening environment where children can heal and regain hope for their future.”
