Friday night the varsity Burnet Bulldog football team made their third consecutive road trip, this time to Fredericksburg, Texas.

A winless, 0-3 hungry Battlin Billies team awaited the incoming 1-2 Bulldogs. The two squads battled more than each other as the Texas heat was still in the low 90s at game time.

The Billies took first offense but the Dawgs defense made their opening series short and sweet. Plays by Khris Kassner, Jordyn Jones, and Marcus Pimentel promptly put the home team in punt formation.
