Special to the Bulletin The Education Foundation Board of Directors is excited to announce the official kickoff of its annual campaign at the Burnet CISD Homecoming game on October 4, 2024.
The event will mark the beginning of a significant initiative to fund innovative teaching grants and academic achievement for Burnet CISD schools.
Attendees are invited to visit the Foundation’s booth and attend formal board member introductions before the game’s kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
This event will serve as a platform to highlight the Foundation’s mission and the pivotal role it plays in enhancing educational opportunities within the Burnet CISD School District.
The foundation has been created to raise private dollars for Burnet CISD.
A group of prominent community leaders have come together to form a foundation to support Burnet Consolidated Independent School District.
The Burnet CISD Education Foundation has announced their focus to enhance community support and to expand resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize opportunities for all students in the Burnet Consolidated School District.
The sole purpose of the newly formed Education Foundation is to benefit Burnet CISD by providing funds for educational programs and activities, which are not funded by the normal operating budget. These funds will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations. Funding priorities will also include funds for innovative teaching grants that will provide resources directly to the classroom for teachers to implement exciting new educational programs.
