Burnet’s Lady Dawg volleyball program was well represented on the recently released Academic All State list. In addition to being a student athlete, an individual receiving this honor must maintain a 92 average or better for all four years of high school. The Lady Dawgs had all seven of their 2025 seniors honored on the list. Camryn Courtney and Brooklynn Daniel both earned first team, while Addison Huffman and Laney Huffman each found a spot on the second team list.
Honorable Mention awards were earned by Emma Pelky, Lauren Howton, and Cydney Robison.
“This is always a coach’s favorite award as it portrays how hard they work in the classroom all four years of high school,” said head volleyball coach Crystal Shipley. “We are so proud of this crew and the example they set every day and the legacy they leave.”
