The Burnet Consolidated Independent School District Education Foundation plans to host its Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala at Wagon Springs Ranch, 5:30 p.m. Feb. 8, 2025 in Burnet at 2424 CR 200.

Sophisticated cocktail attire is encouraged during the event which will include an auction, games and live entertain- ment. All proceeds to benefit BCISD educators and students.
Donors contributing $2,500 or more will be honored during the gala. Also, donors who contribute $500 or more before May 31, 2025 will be included in the “Founder’s Circle.”
Foundation officials expressed gratitude for wide community support for the foundation annual campaign which runs through the end of 2024.
Donations collected during the campaign will fund events, grants, scholarships, innovative classroom projects and other educational initiatives.
The foundation offers two types of grants; Classroom Learning Grants up to $1,000 per request and Teacher Innovative Grants up to $5,000 per teacher.
Deadline to apply for a grant is Jan. 17, 2025.
