Presentation will educate about local raptors

Up-close and personal, live raptors will be featured Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society (HLBWS) next meeting. You are in for a treat to kick off the 2025 New Year with an engaging presentation by dedicated wildlife specialist rehabilitators.

This interactive session offers a unique opportunity to learn about the behaviors and habitats of raptors native to Central Texas while observing these majestic birds up close.

Ed Sones, our presenter, is a very unusual bird watcher who is known for watching birds and other wildlife with them inside his home.
