Soccer making strides with scrimmages

The soccer teams have been busy over the past few days with numerous scrimmages to help fine tune their skills. Both the boys and girls scrimmaged Lampasas with those games having a dual impact. In addition to getting time on the field versus an opponent the games hosted a toy drive for the second year in a row. Burnet’s teams won the toy drives and on the boys side alone the Bulldogs collected over 200 toys and books to be donated.

The Lady Dawgs beat Lampasas, 1-0 in the actual scrimmage.

The JV boys struggled against Lampasas but gained a lot of knowledge in the process. Burnet goalies Aiden Morris and Austin Miller gave good effort in the scrimmage.
