Cheer shines, Jones says good-bye

First let me say Merry Christmas to all our readers. I hope you are having a fantastic holiday surrounded by family and friends. The school is quiet today but there was a buzz of activity last week leading up to the much anticipated break.

I want to give a shout-out to Burnet’s cheerleaders and Coach Kristen Atwood. The BHS cheer team recently earned a well deserved third place finish at the NCA State of Texas Championships.

Coach Atwood released a statement saying, “This incredible achievement is a true reflection of the teams’ dedication and talent along with mental and physical toughness.”
