Bulldogs basketball earns district win over Jarrell

The boys’ basketball program competed in three district games during the Christmas break playing Marble Falls, Jarrell and Gateway most recently last Friday. As of presstime Burnet’s varsity was 1-3 having dropped games to Marble Falls, 4131; and Gateway, 51-37. Their district win came last Tuesday over Jarrell, 42-36. They continued 24-4A play versus Salado yesterday and will travel to Taylor on Friday.

Burnet’s boys’program earned two out of three wins in Jarrell last Tuesday. The freshman lost a close contest, 26-23. Bobby Krause led the Bulldog scorers with 15 points.

Nick Boland added five to the Dawgs score and Cody Lamb finished with three points.
