Former judge issues invite to coffee

The news over the weekend from Burnet County is that Judge Gil Jones has officially applied for the Burnet County Judge position. Although the Burnet County commissioners will have the final vote, Judge Jones is planning a few casual coffees with community members to give him the opportunity to meet with the public and express his thoughts and vision for Burnet County and to answer questions and hear what Burnet County folks think.

The public forums to meet Judge Gil Jones face-to-face include Thursday, Jan. 23, Thursday, Feb 6, and Thursday, Feb. 13, at 206 Ave. H, Suite 102 in Marble Falls from 9 -10 a.m. He will also be at the AgriLife Building, 607 N. Vanderveer in Burnet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb 6, and Thursday, Feb. 13.
