Winter has arrived. Last week’s temperatures are convincing. It really is winter. And it’s more than just daytime and evening temperatures, it looks like winter.
Along the roadsides and in the yards in towns, the trees have all dropped their summertime leaves. Their bare branches are silhouetted against the sky and are punctuated in many cases with clumps of mistletoe.
While the forecast calls for a bit of warmth toward the end of the week, it calls for a return of more winter on Monday.
