The Bertram Chamber of Commerce kicked off the new year with a packed luncheon on
Monday. There were lots of new faces in attendance, as chamber membership
continues to grow.
The program for the luncheon was a “Year in Review 2024”.
I, Betty Predmore as Business Manager, gave an overview of what the Bertram Chamber had
accomplished in the past year, including adding many new businesses to the
membership and the Grand Opening of the Bertram Chamber & Visitor Center. She
highlighted the partnerships that Bertram Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a part
of, including the City of Bertram, Bertram, EDC, Burnet Chamber of Commerce, YMCA,
Burnet County Stock Show, Bertram Library, Burnet County, and BCISD. Betty also
explained the new membership tiers and their additional benefits.
New members will have an opportunity for a new member orientation on Jan. 13 at 6 pm at the
Visitor Center, and there is also an opportunity for small business owners to join a Small
Business Roundtable to collaborate and support one another. Anyone interested in
joining the Bertram Chamber can find the application on their website at

application.
Don’t miss the Commissioner Conversation with Precinct 2 Burnet County Commissioner Damon
Beierle on January 23 rd . Commissioner Beierle will be at the Bertram Library from 4-7
pm and welcomes you to stop by with your questions and comments.
The Bertram Art, Herb & Wine Committee are already in the planning stages for this
year’s festival, which will take place on April 26-27 in downtown Bertram. Vendor
applications are already available. If you are a vendor of handcrafted items and would
like to have a booth, you will find the application under the Festivals tab on the Bertram
Chamber of Commerce website. If you enjoy street festivals, live music, craft beer,
wineries, live demonstrations, and live art, make plans to attend. There will also be a 5k
race that you can participate in.
If you are looking for something special to do on Valentine’s Day, The Standard on
Vaughan will have a pre-fixed menu from 2-10 p.m. and will be by reservation only.
The Globe Theater is hosting Sons of the Pioneers on January 31 st at 8 pm. The Texas
Trio will be performing on Feb. 8. Tickets are available on The Globe Theatre
website, and you can also find the schedule of other great performers they have
scheduled in the coming months.
If you are feeling crafty, make plans to participate in Mosaic Garden Treasures next
fused glass workshop. This workshop will take place on Jan. 25 at 11 am and
you can choose from a variety of projects including sun catchers, wind chimes, plant
