Burnet’s swim team took to the pool in Belton on Friday for their district meet and were impressive with numerous swims resulting in tickets to regionals. Every swimmer wearing Burnet gear extended their season with top finishes at district.

To advance to the upcoming regional meet a swimmer must place in the top four in the district in their event. The Water Dawgs did so in 14 events held at the District 13-4A meet.

Burnet’s men’s 200 yard medley team swam to a second place finish with a 1:53.97. That qualified participants Levi Kleen, Stellan Zollitsch, Rhett Eaton, and Jack Milliorn for regionals early in the meet.
