The Mahomet Cemetery Association President, Craig Clark, is pleased to report that construction on the pavilion at the cemetery has been completed.
He says that this new 30-by-50 ft. structure will easily accommodate the 60 to 75 members of the association who usually attend the annual Memorial Day services.
Robert Noland, a past association board president, informs that there are interments dating back as early as the 1850’s.
