Voting devices to produce ‘paper trail’

Recently, the Burnet County Commissioners and County Elections Administrator Doug Ferguson hosted a town meeting to discuss the possibility of purchasing new state-ofthe- art voting devices.

More than 50 locals attended the meeting in Burnet Feb. 25 at the Texas AgriLife Extension, 607 N. Vandeveer.

“This is a very important topic,” Pct. 2 Commissioner Damon Beierle declared at the outset of the meeting.
