Robert Michael Jackson, 55, of Dale, Texas, and formerly of Burnet, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, in a motorcycle accident. He was born Dec. 14, 1958, in Inglewood, California, the son of Bob J. Jackson and Denise Shuler Jackson. Jackson moved from Winnebago, Illinois, to Burnet in 1990 to raise his three sons. He designed, built, and operated multiple high-technology chemical manufacturing plants, including ADCS in Burnet, and distributed industrial chemicals throughout the world. He loved his friends and family, and was known to help anybody at anytime. He very much loved his state of Texas and his Harley Davidson, as well as his dog, Reno. Jackson is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Eric Ryan Jackson and Carissa Grace James, of Dale; his parents, Bob and Corina Rios Jackson , of Pecatonica, Illinois, and Denise and David Kushner, of Los Angeles, California.; a sister, Michelle J. Jackson of Winfield, Illinois.; a brother and sister-in-law, Steven P. and Nova Candice Jackson, of Burnet, and two sisters, Maria-Christina Jackson of Madison, Wisconsin, and Dr. Tamara Jackson-Zeiter and her husband, Dr. Daniel Zeiter and their son, Oliver, of Ancaster, Canada. He is also survived by his sons’ mother, Kimberly Kirby Jackson. Jackson was preceded in death by his sons, Jason McCaslin Jackson and Thomas Gene Jackson. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will be held Thursday morning Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
