Santa’s Helpers Program gearing up

The Santa’s Helpers Program is currently ramping up, preparing to solicit donations from Burnet County's businesses and residents, to insure that young people here enjoy a Christmas they wouldn't otherwise receive.

The program exemplifies the compassion and caring of citizens for the community's needy children and young adults.

Applications will be accepted from Dec. 1-12 and can be picked up and dropped off at the Burnet Sheriff’s Office, 1601 East Polk Street in Burnet.

Adults can sign children up between the ages of infancy and 18 years of age, so long as the child is not enrolled in any other holiday assistance program such as “Christmas for Kids” or “Christmas Outreach.”

See the rest of the details on this event in Wednesday's Burnet Bulletin.
