Historic Craddock House prepped for move to Airy Mount development

Burnet city officials and businessman A.B. Walters are preparing to move the much-debated Craddock House from its location in the city’s historical district to the site of the Airy Mount Bed and Breakfast, where Walters plans a multi-restaurant facility. City officials have long sought a solution that would result in the removal of the Craddock House as opposed to its demolition, since future plans call for the construction of a new city hall complex and possibly a new police station there on that same property bounded by Jackson, Vandaveer, League and Boundary Streets.
