Owl-oh-ween a hoot!

The Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center will host Owl-oh-ween, a festive open house, on Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Reveille Peak Ranch. 
The event is free to the public, and will include a number of activities for visitors of all ages:
nature scavenger hunts, Hill Country geology and archaeology, Nature's Masters of Disguise, a program about camouflage, water conservation and rainwater collection, art in nature and face painting, fishing and angler education, and presentations on owls, honey bees, bats, bugs and other creep crawlers.

Reveille Peak Ranch is located about eight miles northwest of Burnet just off Ranch to Market Road 2341.
