Trollis Joe “TJ” Morris June 15, 1933 ~ March 1, 2017 Trollis Joe “TJ” Morris, 83, of Joppa Community, near Briggs, joined his Heavenly Father, Jesus and many, many saints on Wednesday, March 1. He was born on June 15, 1933, near Lott, Texas, to the late JC and Linnie Morris. He is also preceded in death by his brother; Dennis Morris and sister Mary Robbins. T J lived in the Waco area until he enlisted into the U.S. Navy in Aug. of 1951 and served for 4 years during the Korean War. After his enlistment ended, he met and married Naomi Ruth Calley of Cherokee. They were married on Oct. 14, 1955. TJ was employed by the Steck/Hart Graphics Printing Company for 38 years. During that time, while raising his family, he continued his education in auto mechanics, led a boy scout troop, enjoyed going to church, he was a first degree Mason, raising his family and working a second or even third job. TJ is survived by his wife; Naomi Ruth Morris of Joppa; sister, Joan Sutton; children, Rebecca Bigham and husband Axel of Cedar Park, Phyllis Michalsky and husband Steve of Lometa, and Timothy Morris and Lynn Kabella of Temple; grandchildren, Andrew and Stacy Bigham, Hannah Bighan and Josh Huemann, Sandra and David Escamillia, Miranda and Scott Coulson, Tim Morris and Cassie Freeman , Cheyenne Morris, Anglea Crone, Marissa and Joe Saunders; great grandchildren, Avery Bigham, Emma and Allison Coulson, Zoey Escamillia, Ashton, Hope and Grace Crone, Skyler Saunders, as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in memory of TJ Morris be made to the Shriners Children’s Burn Center in Corpus Christi. Visitation were held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 4, at Baby Head Cemetery, Llano, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Beck Funeral Home, 1700 E.
