Lady Dawgs earn some new bling

The Lady Bulldog track teams made the short trip to Lampasas last Thursday to compete in their second meet of the season. Burnet’s varsity ladies earned a team bronze for their efforts finishing third overall. The JV girls placed fourth as a team against some quality opponents. Individual finishes top six and better were as follows- JV girls Tanya Laurenti: 100 M dash, second; 200 M dash, second; and 400 M dash, first. Mikayla Martinez: 3200 M run, second; and 1600 M run, second. Kelly Paik: 3200 M run, sixth. Leah Ng: Shot put, fourth; and Discus, fifth. Kendal Connolly: Pole vault, fifth. Varsity Girls Marissa Escamilla: 200 M dash, first; Long jump, third; and Triple jump, second. Macy Hollowell: 400 M dash, fourth. Dream Romero: 400 M dash, fifth; High jump, fourth. Chelsea Bible: High jump, fifth. Melissa Perez: 400 M dash, sixth. Trynadee Greenwell: 800 M run, fourth; and 1600 M run, second. Brie Luedecke: 3200 M run, third. Kinley Beyer: 100 M hurdles, fourth; and Pole vault, fourth. 400 M relay: Burnet, fifth, Beyer, Bible, Deitrick, and Silva. 800 M relay: Burnet, first, Hollowell, Romero, Silva, and Escamilla. 1600 M relay: Burnet, second, Hollowell, Romero, Perez, and Escamilla.
