Wilfred (Will) G. Mallari

Wilfred (Will) G. Mallari, of Burnet, TX, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, October 23, 2017, surrounded by his wife, Kathy, children, grandchildren, and friends.

Will was born in the Philippines on June 27, 1942 to Elisio and Maura Mallari. In 1953 the family migrated to the United States. In 1961, Will graduated from Buena Park HS in CA and enlisted in the Marine Corps. Upon receiving his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, he enrolled at Cal State Fullerton, where he received his Master of Arts degree in 1971. In 1972, Will moved to Austin, TX where he received his Master of Professional Accounting from University of Texas, Austin in 1974.

For over 30 years Will lived in California, working in Hospital Administration. In 2007, Will and his wife Kathy moved to Burnet, TX. Will, will be mostly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, the family jokester, one who could always be counted on to break the tension with something that would always make you smile and laugh. 

Will is survived by his wife, of over 30 years, Kathy Meyer Mallari, son, William Mallari, daughters, Ginabella Mallari, Shannon Mallari Davis, Erin Mallari Lunsford, and Debbie Mallari Hamilton, son-in-laws, Scott Carino, William Davis, and Shawn Lunsford, grandsons, Alex, Andrue, Antoni, Andre, Jacob, and granddaughters Emma and Adele. He is also survived by his siblings, Ely Mallari, Lydia Mallari, Miriam Sommers, Jerry Mallari, Clint Mallari, Monico Mallari, Jody Keller, Bon Mallari. Proceeded was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister Evy.

Memorial services will be on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Jesu Cristo La Roca Viva Church on Park Rd 4, Burnet, TX.
