Burnet hospital enacts visitation protocols for COVID-19 prevention

Hospitals in Burnet County and Llano County will limit the foot traffic and number of visitors in their facilities as a measure to combat potential coronavirus infections, officials said.

Rural medical health care facilities have begun conducting protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in response to concerns about the growing number of COVID-19 cases in metropolitan locations.

On different levels, a number of those recommendations have been adopted by Ascension Seton Highland Lakes, 3201 S. Water (U.S. 281), in Burnet and Baylor Scott and White Hospital, 810 W. Texas 71, in Marble Falls. …
