Mary Ruth Keltch

August 13, 1952 — December 16, 2019

Mary Ruth Keltch, age 67, passed away Dec. 16, 2019 in the hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Mary was the middle of five children, born on Aug. 13, 1952, in Houston, Texas to William Alfred and Louisa Maria Speed.

She was a resident of Kingsland, having lived in the Burnet area since 1984. She was a catastrophe insurance adjuster and loved her job. Mary enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and relaxing on a cruise. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Cutter Ashton Sims

December 16, 1994 — December 11, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our son, father, brother and friend, Cutter Ashton Sims, on Dec. 11, 2019.

He was born on Dec. 16, 1994. Cutter was a smart, handsome, adventurous and free spirited soul. If you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. Whether it was about him being sarcastic, ridiculously funny, downright sweet or selflessly helpful, he left his mark.

Terry Lee Feldbusch

April 20, 1954 — December 6, 2019

Terry Lee Feldbusch, age 65, passed away at his home in Burnet on Dec. 6, 2019. Terry was the youngest of five children, born on April 20, 1954, in Inglewood, California to Walter Feldbusch and Lillian Ashby Feldbusch.

He was a resident of Burnet, having moved here from California in 1992. He retired after spending 38 years in the teflon/plastics recycling business. Terry enjoyed fishing, boating, and loved all sports, mainly his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. He was married to Delores Clark on July 12, 1980.

Terry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Delores of Burnet; daughter, Kerri Jones and son-in-law David; and daughter, Shannon Steffey and son-in-law Danny; and son, Bryan Feldbusch. Also surviving are brothers, JR Feldbusch and wife Fran, Richard Feldbusch and wife Sandy; and sister, Mary Lucett.

Francis (Panchita) Hernandez

September 8, 1939 — December 7, 2019

Francis (Panchita) Hernandez, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, in Kingsland, Texas.

She was born on Sept. 8, 1939, in Laredo, Texas to Oswaldo Sr. and Guadalupe Martinez Gonzalez. Panchita grew up in the fields, a family of migrant workers. In 1952 her family began following the harvest up through Utah and Idaho. In 1967 the Gonzalez family made their home in Brigham City, Utah, then in 2001, she moved her family back to her roots, settling in Burnet, Texas. On July 30, 1977, in Elko, Nevada, she married Pedro Antonio Hernandez (Toño).
She is survived by her children, Mario Navarro, Anna Arredondo, Pedro A. Hernandez, Sandra and Nina Hernandez; two brothers; and four sisters; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Emma Faye Tidwell Farley Davis

September 11, 1925 — December 4, 2019

Emma Faye Tidwell Farley Davis, 94, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2019 in Burnet, Texas.

She was born near Montell, Texas, on Sept. 11, 1925 to William Samuel Tidwell and Genoa Hunter Tidwell.

Faye is survived by her son, Perry Edward Farley and his wife Annette; daughter, Jamie Elizabeth King and her husband Dwight; and daughter, Dana Bernice Schafer and husband Speck. One son, Michael Stephen Farley, preceded her in death. She is also survived by a younger brother, Marcus Elton Tidwell and wife Betty; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Faye was a quiet, loving lady who greatly anticipated her family gatherings and cherished those times when the family was together. She loved camping and fishing with late husband Roland, all kinds of games and outings, especially cruises.

Bill Hinds

July 3, 1958 — December 3, 2019

Bill Hinds, 61, lifelong resident of Burnet, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 3, 2019. He was born July 3, 1958 to Denver and Dorothy Wilson Hinds in Burnet.

Bill attended Burnet High school and was married to his high school sweetheart Lisette for 43 years. He started his asphalt business in 1980. Bill was kindhearted and had a great love for his family, his work and motorcycles, his grandson Jake was one of his greatest joys. He also had a great love for music and was a mason for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lisette; daughter, Candice Hinds; son, Wesley Hinds and wife Pamela; grandson, Jake Hinds; brother, Daryl Hinds; sisters, Darla Clark and Shawnna Bell; sister-in-law, Candee Hinds; brother-in-law, Joel Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, interment followed at Burnet City Cemetery.

Dorothy Nell Holder

Dorothy Nell Holder, 85, of Goldthwaite, Texas, formerly of Burnet, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019.

She was born Oct. 12, 1934 in Concord, Texas to Herman K. and Vera Heine.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie Holder of Goldthwaite, Texas; nieces and nephews, Debbie Furr and husband Terry, Raymond Heine, Lynda Jackson and husband Donald, Darla Schwartz, Wanda Wilkins and Don Watson and wife Debbie.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Burnet City Cemetery, Burnet, Texas.

Sherri Laak Duke

April 2, 1972 — November 20, 2019

Sherri was born April 2, 1972 in Merrill, Wisconsin on Easter Sunday. Sherri passed away Nov. 20, 2019 after a three-year battle with cancer. Her soul made its way to heaven free from pain.

Sherri was the daughter of Joseph and Linda Laak of Burnet, Texas. Also surviving is her brother, Jeremy and wife Chris of New Braunfels, Texas.

Sherri was married to Dace Duke of Dale, Texas. Sherri is survived by uncles, aunts and cousins in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, and Virginia.

Sherri had a great love of the outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, music, arts and crafts. She loved her dogs and cats, cows and horses. Sherri graduated from Burnet High School and Sul Ross University.

She loved being a substitute teacher and working with children. Sherri was a kind and love-

giving, strong person.

Glynn Boultinghouse Wall

April 30, 1920 — November 27, 2019

Glynn Maxine was born to Mack Leland Boultinghouse and Ethel West Hall Boultinghouse on April 30, 1920 in Marble Falls, Texas. She graduated from Marble Falls High School.

She went to Austin to work after graduation. In 1942, she took and passed a Civil Service exam. She was sent to mechanics’ school in San Antonio. After training, she was assigned to Kelly Field in San Antonio where she received further training. She was then sent to be a member of the Plexi glass unit on Kelly Air Base.

In Nov. 1944, she was selected to be transferred to Station X. Due to World War II, no one knew where Station X was until they arrived at the location. She was assigned to Hickam Field, which is on the island of Oahu, one of the Hawaiian Islands. Hickam Field was next to Pearl Harbor. She returned to the mainland states on Dec. 25, 1945.

Pat Brazil Mahaffey

June 22, 1929 — November 17, 2019

Pat Brazil Mahaffey passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019. She was born June 22, 1929, in Carrizo Springs, Texas to William Lee Brazil and Frances May (Ellis) Brazil, and had been a resident of the Silver Creek community near Burnet for many years.

Pat was a graduate of Southwestern University in May of 1950 with a degree in home economics. She taught at Lometa High School until she married the love of her life, Aubrey Glenn Mahaffey, on Sept. 22, 1951.
