Road Signs

On a pleasant Sunday afternoon drive in the northeastern part of Burnet County we used a road sign to guide us on our route.

Suddenly I was reminded of a notice that I had seen from our Commissioner, Damon Beierle. He was asking for help.

Commissioner Beierle said that they had over $3,000 worth of signs stolen from county roads since March. A lot of the theft had occurred around CR 207, but he also mentioned CR 206, 202, 252, 220 and some others.

He said that Crime Stoppers is helping with a reward for information leading to a conviction. Persons calling with information may remain anonymous. The number is 866-756-8477.
