Bertram City Hall was closed to the public at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, after a city employee tested positive for COVID-19, Mayor Adam Warden reported.

Warden said water customers will continue to be able to make payments through the city website and by dropping off their payments in the night slot at City Hall. Municipal court cases are continued indefinitely.

The closure of City Hall to the public will be until 8 a.m. Monday, July 20. Bertram police officers and public works employees will continue to work while adhering to federal, state and local health guidelines, Warden said.

“Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters,” Warden added.

If you need assistance during this period, please email the City at info@ cityofbertram.org. For water emergencies, please call 512-355-2020.
