The Mighty Thomas Carnival will make their return to Burnet this week as they set up next to the Burnet Community Center (between East Jackson and East League streets) from Friday, June 19 through Wednesday, June 24.

Chamber officials said rides and games will be spread out to accommodate recommended spacing and social distancing and all will be sanitized after each use with plenty of sanitizing and hand washing stations on site. Employees will wear masks as well.

Most rides will require between 1-4 tickets and tickets, which are only available at the carnival, are $1 each; 30 for $25 or 60 for $40. A coupon available on the carnival’s Facebook page can be downloaded to save $5 off the cost of a sheet of 30 or 60 tickets.

Carnival hours of operation will be as follows:

• Friday, June 19: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.;

• Saturday, June 20: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.;

• Sunday, June 21: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and

• Monday, June 22 through Wednesday, June 24: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
