Fred J. Cooks

Fred J. Crooks passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 88.

Fred was born in Bertram, Texas, on September 25, 1932.

He is survived by his two children Tony Crooks of Austin, Joellen (Crooks) Gates of Buda, twin grandchildren Jenna and Mollie, his wife, her children and family.

Fred grew up in Briggs, Texas, with three brothers on the family ranch.

He had a 30-year career with Burnup and Sims retiring to Fredericksburg as a gentleman rancher where he enjoyed raising horses and cattle.
