Glenda Maurene (Meador) O’Hair passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2020, at the age of 72 in Burnet. She was born on March 27, 1948, to Miles and Minerva (Whitehead) Meador in Burnet. On June 17, 1966, she married Robert Henry O’Hair and together they made their home in the Burnet and Marble Falls area while raising their 3 children, Cherie Ann, Robert Dan, and Travis Don O’Hair.
Glenda was a member of Oaks West Church of Christ in Burnet. She delighted in gardening, spending time with her girlfriends, feeding the hummingbirds, boasting about her grandchildren, watching the Longhorns, admiring yellow, filling her house with knick-knacks, and keeping QVC in business. Glenda never met a stranger and was blessed with the gift of gab. She was a loyal (and ornery) friend to many.
Survivors include her sons, Dan O’Hair (Abby), and Travis O’Hair (Morgan), her brother, Royce Meador (Francene), her grandchildren, Deborah Nicole, Daniel, Tanner, Cason, Graydon, Trinity, and Travis Henry, and many other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Minerva (Whitehead) Meador, husband, Robert Henry O’Hair, and daughter Cherie Ann.
After a private family interment a Memorial Service in celebration of Glenda’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20 at the Oaks West Church of Christ with Minister Darrell Trammel officiating.
