The Bulldog tennis team traveled to Jarrell on Thursday and recorded a dominate performance winning every match for an 18-0 team victory.
That 18-0 win put the Dawgs in a three-way tie for third place in the district.
In mixed doubles competition at Jarrell Zaida Freeman and Lawson Lucky won 6-4, 6-4.
Also, in doubles play, Tatum Salinas and Kyleigh Mott shut-out their opponents for the win, 6-0, 6-0.
Singles victories were earned by Will Gregg, 6-1, 6-2; Lainey Rye, 6-0, 6-0; Mott, 6-0, 6-0; and Salinas, 6-0, 6-0.
Freeman’s singles match was called early due to darkness at the 5-7, 5-4 mark.
The Dawgs played in a three-team tournament over the weekend to see which teams will make the playoffs. We will bring you those results in next week’s edition.
