In the midst of the pandemic, a number of biking enthusiast have found refuge in Spider Mountain, located on the banks of Lake Buchanan, just outside Burnet. The facility is the state’s first and only lift-served mountain bike park, which takes mountain bikers 350 vertical feet higher than the base.
