The Community Resource Centers of Texas Inc. facility at 1016 Broadway in Marble Falls has been open since January, but the organization finally got a chance to show off its newest digs during a grand opening ceremony Tuesday, May 25.

CRC executive director Donna Klaeger, CRC board member Susan Hamm, Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation Mark Mayfield and others welcomed hundreds of attendees to tour the 13,000 square foot campus before cutting a ribbon to officially celebrate their reopening in their new location.

The CRC provides office space for the Department of Health and Human Services (federal poverty aid programs such as Medicaid, food stamps and supplemental child insurance), Veterans Administration Services, Prescription Assistance Program, Rotary Dental Clinic, Texas Health Steps (Medicaid healthcare resources), Rural Capital of Texas Workforce Center, Literacy Council of the Highland Lakes, Highland Lakes Pregnancy Resource Center, Indigent Health Care of Burnet County and AARP Tax Aide.

The CRC complex also includes a common foyer and the 4,000-square-foot Helping Center addition, which moved from its previous location at the intersection of Broadway and Avenue N.

Community Resource Centers of Texas, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with four locations in Texas: Burnet, Blanco, Llano, and Williamson counties.
