Burnet County Republicans attend an event featuring Lt. Col. Allen West at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet on Saturday, July 11. Many pictured are delegates that will be attending the Republican Party of Texas Convention July 16-18. The convention was scheduled to be held in Houston. Lt. Col. West is a candidate for party chair against current chair James Dickey. Delegates will also be voting on a SREC committeeman and committeewoman, RNC committeeman and committeewoman, state party chair, state party vice chair, delegates and alternates to the RNC Convention in Jacksonville and presidential electors.
