Virginia Ruth Frenzel Little

September 7 , 1931 —April 3, 2026 Virginia Ruth Frenzel Little, age 94, of Temple. Texas, passed away on Good Friday. April 3. 2Ó26. at Scott and White Continuing Care Hospital. surrounded by loved ones, following special visits with her grandchildren and family.

Ginny was bom in 1931 in Rochester. New York, to Ruth and Raymond Frenzel. She married Robert Little in 1951. and they were married for 64 years until his death in 2015. They enjoyed traveling and exploring different parts of the world. Ginny and Bob volunteered with groups such as Beep Baseball for the Blind, the Celtic Society, the Nevada City Visitor Center, and various church committees and altar guilds in Nevada City.

California, and Burnet, Texas. Ginny was a good listener who offered thoughtful, loving advice. She had a terrific sense of humor, a great laugh, a bright sincere smile, and was quick with witty, surprising comebacks. She dressed with notable style and class, always mindful of her appearance, a trait she claimed to have inherited from her mother. She was enriched by a lifelong succession of cherished dogs. Ginny was an avid reader with interests ranging from historical fiction and biographies to the Bible, and she belonged to the Little Book Club. She was a proud member of the Episcopal Order of the Daughters of the King.

Most importantly. Ginny deeply loved her family and friends. The main lesson anyone who was part of her life learned was how to love.

Ginny leaves behind her three daughters. Debbie Wilson (Ken), Kathi Hecht (Dave), and Robyn Knieriem (Brian). Grandchildren Kristin Haire (Brandon), Brad Knieriem (Mary), Stacy Hecht, Bob Hecht (Jill). Jessica Lea Turner (Steve), and Ned Wilson; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren: beloved sister in laws, nieces, nephews, godchild, and many friends. She will truly be missed.

A private memorial service is planned.
