Flora Belle Winn (Flo) passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2025.
Flo was born on February 25th, 1940 in Burnet, Texas. She graduated from high school in 1958 and married in the same year. Eventually she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and became a teacher at Page High School. Once she retired, she opened a shop, Winn’s Wicker and Gifts, in Page, Arizona. Following her second retirement, she self published two cookbooks.
Flo had many interests including cooking, quilting, reading, watching films, and traveling. She also enjoyed a regular card group and was active in her churches, Canyon Church of Christ and Page Church of Christ.
Flo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend to many. She had a generous spirit and loved to entertain in her home and host events for widows and widowers in her church community. Flo had a bit of a competitive streak and tremendously enjoyed playing pickleball and ping pong. She had an incredible energy level and was a lifelong learner. Flo was always game to embark on new adventures. She will be missed profoundly by her family and friends.
Flo is survived by her husband, Pete Winn; her daughter, Cindy Winn; her son, Greg Winn; her grandchildren, Jacob Moses, Rebecca Shacklelford, and Melissa Winn; and her sister, Ronelda Wendler.
