Elaine Danson Ebert, age 69 of Buchanan Dam, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 after a battle with cancer. She was born on March 14, 1951 in Oldham, England to Geoffrey and Hillary Compson. In the late seventies after marrying a US Air Force pilot, Elaine and her sons moved to Austin, Texas with him.

Later, she worked at Pardner’s Night Club in Buchanan Dam as a Bartender and Bookkeeper for over 35 years. She was instrumental in booking live music and coordinating special events.

Upon retiring, she continued to frequent the club and sold roses that afforded her to travel to Riviera Maya Mexico where she loved to vacation.

Elaine is survived by two brothers, Andrew Compson of Perth, Australia and his children Teagan, Lauren, and Jake; and brother Neil Compson of Bredbury, England and his children Jennifer and Ryan; and by her two sons, Dr. Jeremy Danson of Buchanan Dam, Texas and her grandchildren, Emerie Elise, and Brody Gareth; and by son Christopher and his wife Kristy Danson of Jarrell, Texas and her grandchildren, Jasmine Corrin, Andrew William, Marshall Copeland and his family, and Nolan Quenomoen; granddaughter Courtney Danson; and granddaughter Aspen Lucinda and her husband Matt Klott of Spanaway, Washington and multiple great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geoffrey and Hillary Compson.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial, with funeral procession leaving ClementsWilcox Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m.

Arrangements were entrusted to Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas.
